1. Who we are

Magic Mirror ("we", "us") provides AI-powered image and video generation tools. For UK/EU GDPR purposes we are the data controller for personal data you provide. Contact: support via the in-app chat or our contact page.

2. What we collect

• Account data: email, display name, authentication identifiers.
• Generation data: prompts you submit, source images you upload, generated outputs.
• Billing data: handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see your full card number.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and basic analytics for security and service quality.

3. Legal basis

We process personal data on the basis of (a) contract — to deliver the service you signed up for, (b) legitimate interests — for fraud prevention, security and product improvement, (c) consent — for non-essential cookies and marketing, and (d) legal obligationwhere required (tax, fraud).

4. AI processing & sub-processors

To generate content we forward your prompt and any uploaded image to third-party AI providers (currently Replicate Inc. for video, and the Lovable AI gateway for images). These providers act as our data processors. Data may be processed outside the UK/EEA (including the United States) under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses).

5. Retention

Generations and prompts are stored in your private account for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual items from your library at any time, or delete your account to remove all personal data (some records may be retained where required by law, e.g. invoicing).

6. Your rights

Under UK/EU GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. Contact us via the support page to exercise these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in the UK, the ICO).

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. With your consent we may use analytics cookies to improve the service. You can update your choice at any time by clearing your browser storage.
